AIS led the mobile market across key performance metrics
AIS had the Best Mobile Network overall, and the Best 5G Network, among providers in Thailand during 1H 2025. It recorded a median download speed of 104.33 Mbps, and a median 5G download speed of 177.19 Mbps. AIS also led in mobile median upload speed and achieved the lowest latency for both all technologies combined and 5G.
AIS offered the best mobile gaming quality of experience
AIS offered the best mobile gaming experience in Thailand during 1H 2025, according to Speedtest Intelligence data, with a Game Score of 79.71 for all technologies combined, and 81.34 for 5G.
AIS the fastest fixed ISP in Thailand
AIS was the fastest ISP in Thailand during 1H 2025 with a median download speed of 287.92 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 240.26 Mbps.
Nong Prue and Nonthaburi were the top performing cities in Thailand
Among the most populous cities in Thailand, Nong Prue recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 141.15 Mbps, while Nonthaburi outpaced the other cities to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 297.08 Mbps.

City Performance
Nong Prue had the fastest median mobile download speed among Thailand’s most populous cities, recording 141.15 Mbps. Nakhon Ratchasima was second, followed by Khon Kaen in third. At the other end of the scale, Khlong Nueng had the slowest median mobile download speed at 86.11 Mbps, followed by Pakkret and Pattaya City. AIS was the fastest provider across nine cities.
Regional Performance
Phuket had the fastest median mobile download speed among Thailand’s regions, recording 123.58 Mbps. Bangkok was second, followed by Samut Prakan in third. At the other end of the scale, Uthai Thani had the slowest median mobile download speed at 42.66 Mbps, followed by Sukhothai and Kalasin. AIS was the fastest provider across 74 regions.

Nonthaburi had the fastest median fixed download speed among Thailand’s most populous cities, recording 297.08 Mbps. Pakkret was second, followed by Bangkok in third. At the other end of the scale, Nong Prue had the slowest median fixed download speed at 43.5 Mbps, followed by Pattaya City and Hat Yai. AIS was the fastest provider across five cities.
Regional Performance
Pathum Thani had the fastest median fixed download speed among Thailand’s regions, recording 288.4 Mbps. Samut Songkhram was second, followed by Nonthaburi in third. At the other end of the scale, Sa Kaeo had the slowest median fixed download speed at 84.52 Mbps, followed by Trat and Tak. AIS was the fastest provider across 27 regions.
