Telenor had the Best Mobile Network overall, and the Best 5G Network, among providers in Sweden during 1H 2025. It recorded a median download speed of 172.67 Mbps, and a median 5G download speed of 234.94 Mbps.
Telenor and Bahnhof offered the best gaming experiences
Telenor offered the best 5G gaming experience in Sweden during 1H 2025, while Bahnhof recorded the best gaming experience among ISPs.
Bahnhof the fastest fixed ISP in Sweden
Bahnhof was the fastest ISP in Sweden during 1H 2025 with a median download speed of 212.53 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 196 Mbps.
Stockholm and Huddinge were the top performing cities in Sweden
Among the most populous cities in Sweden, Stockholm recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 263.63 Mbps, while Huddinge outpaced the other cities to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 231.68 Mbps.

Stockholm had the fastest median mobile download speed among Sweden’s most populous cities, recording 263.63 Mbps. Solna was second, followed by Linköping in third. At the other end of the scale, Örebro had the slowest median mobile download speed at 112.16 Mbps, followed by Huddinge and Helsingborg. Telenor was the fastest provider across five cities.
Regional Performance
Stockholm County had the fastest median mobile download speed among Sweden’s regions, recording 161.73 Mbps. Västra Götaland County was second, followed by Blekinge County in third. At the other end of the scale, Västernorrland County had the slowest median mobile download speed at 84.33 Mbps, followed by Gotland County and Örebro County. Telenor was the fastest provider across eight regions.

Huddinge had the fastest median fixed download speed among Sweden’s most populous cities, recording 231.68 Mbps. Solna was second, followed by Stockholm in third. At the other end of the scale, Västerås had the slowest median fixed download speed at 151.77 Mbps, followed by Helsingborg and Linköping. Tele2 was the fastest provider across three cities followed by Bahnhof in two.

At the other end of the scale, Västerbotten County had the slowest median fixed download speed at 95.37 Mbps, followed by Blekinge County and Jonkoping County. Bahnhof was the fastest provider across five regions.
