Valoo the fastest fixed ISP in Finland
Valoo was the fastest ISP in Finland during 1H 2025 with a median download speed of 313.6 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 290.97 Mbps.
Helsinki and Lahti were the top performing cities in Finland
Among the most populous cities in Finland, Helsinki recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 185.48 Mbps, while Lahti outpaced the other cities to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 202.27 Mbps.

City Performance
Helsinki had the fastest median mobile download speed among Finland’s most populous cities, recording 185.48 Mbps. Tampere was second, followed by Oulu in third. At the other end of the scale, Kouvola had the slowest median mobile download speed at 126.28 Mbps, followed by Espoo and Kuopio. DNA was the fastest provider across five cities.
Regional Performance
Pirkanmaa had the fastest median mobile download speed among Finland’s regions, recording 180.59 Mbps. Central Finland was second, followed by Northern Ostrobothnia in third. At the other end of the scale, North Karelia had the slowest median mobile download speed at 135.18 Mbps, followed by Kymenlaakso and Lapland. DNA was the fastest provider across three regions.

Lahti had the fastest median fixed download speed among Finland’s most populous cities, recording 202.27 Mbps. Oulu was second, followed by Kuopio in third. At the other end of the scale, Turku had the slowest median fixed download speed at 115.33 Mbps, followed by Tampere and Helsinki. DNA was the fastest provider across three cities followed by Valoo in two.

Satakunta had the fastest median fixed download speed among Finland’s regions, recording 200.89 Mbps. North Karelia was second, followed by Northern Ostrobothnia in third. At the other end of the scale, Pirkanmaa had the slowest median fixed download speed at 122.15 Mbps, followed by Uusimaa and Lapland. Valoo was the fastest provider across two regions.
