Proximus led the mobile market across key performance metrics
Proximus was the fastest mobile provider in Belgium during 1H 2025, across all technologies combined. It recorded a median download speed of 93.33 Mbps, and an upload speed of 12.38 Mbps.
Orange and Scarlet offered the best video experiences
Orange offered the best 5G video streaming experience in Belgium during 1H 2025, while Scarlet recorded the best video streaming experience among ISPs.
Proximus fiber the fastest fixed ISP in Belgium
Proximus fiber was the fastest ISP in Belgium during 1H 2025 with a median download speed of 323.3 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 199.54 Mbps.
Antwerp and Anderlecht were the top performing cities in Belgium
Among the most populous cities in Belgium, Antwerp recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 161.8 Mbps, while Anderlecht outpaced the other cities to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 163.16 Mbps.

Antwerp had the fastest median mobile download speed among Belgium’s most populous cities, recording 161.8 Mbps. Ghent was second, followed by Bruges in third. At the other end of the scale, Schaerbeek had the slowest median mobile download speed at 82.82 Mbps, followed by Brussels and Namur. Orange was the fastest provider across four cities.

Anderlecht had the fastest median fixed download speed among Belgium’s most populous cities, recording 163.16 Mbps. Bruges was second, followed by Leuven in third. At the other end of the scale, Liège had the slowest median fixed download speed at 78.52 Mbps, followed by Ghent and Brussels. Proximus fiber was the fastest provider across nine cities.
