    Our latest Speedtest Connectivity Report for Taiwan shows a strong performance by Chunghwa Telecom in the first half of 2025. According to Speedtest Intelligence data, Chunghwa Telecom was the Best Mobile Network and Best 5G Network, with impressive median speeds of 136.2 Mbps for mobile and 344.25 Mbps for 5G. The operator also led in the quality of experience, providing the best 5G gaming and video streaming experiences. On the fixed broadband side, HiNet took the lead as the fastest fixed ISP. These findings highlight Chunghwa Telecom’s dominant position and commitment to delivering top-tier connectivity for consumers in Taiwan.

    In the first half of 2025, our RootMetrics State of the Mobile Union report for the UK confirms EE’s continued leadership. Based on over 625,000 tests, EE won or shared every UK-wide RootScore Award, including its 24th consecutive UK Overall RootScore Award. The operator also earned our Best 5G award for its winning combination of widespread availability and strong performance. This comprehensive analysis shows that EE consistently delivers the UK’s best network experience across UK-wide, nation, and metro area testing, reaffirming its status as the nation’s number one network.

    Mexico market snapshot

    Our latest Speedtest Connectivity Report for Mexico highlights Telcel’s continued dominance in the mobile market. Based on Speedtest Intelligence data from the first half of 2025, Telcel was the Best Mobile Network and Fastest 5G Network in Mexico, with a median download speed of 82.69 Mbps and an impressive 5G median download speed of 230.67 Mbps. Telcel also delivered the best quality of experience for 5G gaming and video streaming. For fixed broadband, Totalplay once again stood out, winning the fastest ISP award for the fifth consecutive year. These results underscore the strong competition and advancements in Mexican connectivity.

    Zimbabwe Market Snapshot

    In our latest Speedtest Connectivity Report for Zimbabwe, we see that Econet Wireless is a clear leader in the mobile market. During the first half of 2025, Econet Wireless was the Best Mobile Network and Fastest Mobile Network, with a median download speed of 25.79 Mbps. The provider also delivered the best mobile gaming and video streaming experiences. On the fixed broadband side, Liquid Home Zimbabwe was the fastest ISP. These results demonstrate Econet Wireless’s commitment to delivering a high-quality connected experience for its users across Zimbabwe.

    Canada Market Snapshot

    The fixed broadband market in Canada remains a fiercely competitive landscape, with major providers vying for the top spot. In the first half of 2025, our Speedtest Connectivity Report shows that the race for superior fixed connectivity is extremely close. Bell pure fibre emerged as the Best Fixed ISP and the Fastest Fixed ISP in Canada, with a Speedtest Connectivity Score of 84.56. The provider also recorded a median download speed of 360.01 Mbps and a median upload speed of 312.34 Mbps. This strong performance, combined with winning the Best Gaming Experience award, reinforces its leadership in delivering high-quality, high-speed internet to Canadian households.
